Payment Methods:

At Woodme, we offer a variety of payment methods to make your shopping experience as convenient as possible. These include Mobilepay, Visa/Dankort, Visa electron, Mastercard, and Maestro, Paypal, Apple Pay and Shop Pay. Your card information is encrypted with the SSL protocol to ensure that unauthorized persons cannot access your data during the transaction.

Free Shipping and Delivery:

We offer free shipping on all orders over 500 DKK within Denmark, the European Union, and a range of international destinations including Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, the UAE, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Woodme dispatches all items within 1-3 business days, and you will receive a digital delivery status message from the transporter with details about your shipment. Depending on the destination, your item will be sent either as a parcel post with track and trace to the nearest GLS parcel box or door-to-door delivery. Please note that timely delivery depends on the transporter's compliance with their day-to-day schedule, and Woodme cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by them.

Customs and Duties:

For orders to countries outside the European Union, customs duties and taxes are generally not included in the price. However, for orders to the United States, we take care of all customs duties and taxes on your behalf, so you won't have any additional costs upon delivery. While we offer free shipping on orders above 500 Danish Crowns (about 75 USD), please be aware that for other countries, additional costs (customs duties and taxes) may still be charged by your local authorities. To understand any potential fees that might apply outside the EU and the US, we recommend contacting your local customs office.

Right of Complaint:

You get a 2-year right of complaint, as per the Sales Act, covering manufacturing and material defects that are detected during normal use of the product. Complaints about faults and defects that should be detected by usual examination of the product must be reported to Woodme within a reasonable time. If an item is reported defective when it is received back, Woodme will pay for the shipping costs for sending a new item and refund the buyer’s shipping costs. However, if the item is not defective, the buyer will not receive money back for shipping costs.

Cancellation:

You may exercise your right of withdrawal by refusing to receive the order, which will then be returned to us. Please note that if you choose not to pick up the order and it is returned to us, all shipping costs, including the return to our address, will be deducted from your refund. The item must be returned unused and in its original packaging. Kindly inform us of your decision to cancel by sending an email to: kontakt@woodme.dk.

Product Return and Exchange:

We offer a 30-day return period from the day you place your order. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in its original packaging. Please remember to email us to inform us of your wish to return the item. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer (except for faulty products), and the customer also bears the responsibility if the item is lost or damaged on its way back to us. Therefore, we strongly recommend using a shipping method that can be tracked and keeping the receipt until the return process is completed. If you received the wrong item or the product is faulty, we will refund the return postage. Please note that it is not possible to exchange an item directly; you will need to return the original item and place a new order.

Product Liability:

For product liability, Woodme is responsible in accordance with the provisions of the Product Liability Act, which cannot be waived by agreement. Woodme disclaims responsibility for damages on any other basis. The amount of product liability cannot exceed the coverage provided by Woodme’s product liability insurance. The buyer is obliged to notify Woodme in writing without undue delay if product liability damage has occurred or if there is a risk that such damage will occur.

Woodme is not responsible for any damage that occurs while the material is in the customer’s possession. Woodme is also not responsible for damage to products manufactured by the customer or to products in which they are included. Woodme is not responsible for operating losses, lost earnings, or other indirect losses.
To the extent that Woodme may be charged with product liability towards third parties, the customer is obliged to indemnify Woodme to the same extent that Woodme’s liability is limited according to the above. These limitations in Woodme’s product liability do not apply if Woodme has been guilty of gross negligence.

Personal Data:

If you want to shop in the Woodme webshop, we will ask for your contact details, name, address, phone number, and email, and possibly other information. This information is stored and treated confidentially in our database and is NOT passed on to a third party. However, the following are excluded from this:

1. Necessary address information given to GLS in connection with shipping.
2. In the event of a dispute between the customer and Woodme, information may be passed on to lawyers, debt collectors, and the legal system.
3. If you are subscribed to a newsletter, your email address will be passed on to Mailchimp, which will treat it 100% confidentially.
